Planning a holiday party for 20 to 100 people in the Metro East

By SixEighteen Events + Catering

Wings, ravioli, cheese sticks and sliders
Clubhouse Lounge + Kitchen — Edwardsville

Set the date, format and guest count

A holiday party for 20 people and a gathering for 100 share the same basic planning questions: who is coming, where will they eat and what kind of meal do you want to serve? Begin with an estimated headcount and identify who will confirm attendance. Tell the caterer if the number is still changing rather than presenting an early estimate as a final count.

Decide whether food is the main meal, a lunch between work shifts or part of a party with other refreshments. Also note the serving window and the space available for food. A seated meal, a buffet and a spread of shared trays require different arrangements. You do not need to solve every detail before asking for help, but a clear description makes it easier to compare suitable options.

Compare existing food choices

SixEighteen Events + Catering brings together Joe's, Penalty Box and Clubhouse catering choices. Joe's lists pizza, pasta, wings and salads. Penalty Box lists wings, burgers and pizza packs from East Alton. Clubhouse lists sliders, wings, platters and buffets in Edwardsville. Check the store's menu and ask about service for the event address rather than assuming all three have identical coverage across the Metro East.

Scale the request, not just the shopping list

Keep a short list of dietary requirements and make sure the person placing the order can answer follow-up questions. For allergies, ask the restaurant to confirm ingredients and preparation; do not assume a dish is suitable because of its name. If people will eat at different times, explain that too. Food choices and serving arrangements should fit the actual party rather than an idealized single serving time.

Confirm logistics and send your request

Choose pickup, delivery or a hosted gathering before finalizing the food plan. Clubhouse has a private room and patio in Edwardsville; use the event-spaces page to explore the existing venue information, then ask about availability for your date and group size. For a party at your office or another venue, provide the full address and confirm where food should be received and set out.

Use the catering form with the date, headcount, preferred store and an email or phone contact. Include a per-person budget if you have one. Or email your order to catering@618cater.com and we'll enter it for you. Two stores can supply the same event, with separate store orders; specify what you want from each. Ask about timing, availability and charges before treating the arrangements as settled. No fixed advance-order deadline is published here, so confirm it directly rather than assuming a last-minute request can be fulfilled.
